State under 18 Open training session
The State Under 18 squad invites all under 18’s to their next training session. Whether you are a junior bowler who has been playing for a number of years and want the opportunity to play with the squad or if you are just starting out and want some tips and guidance from our state under 18 coaches, you are welcome to attend. For those wanting to be included in the State Under 18 squad full time, this is an opportunity to be recognised by the state under 18 coaches.
Simply send an email to development@bowlssa.com.au to confirm that you will be attending the day. Bowls SA can provide loan bowls if required (make it known that you require them in your email), simply bring a hat, flat soled shoes, water and comfy clothes. If you are or have a junior bowler in your family that is keen to be involved but is unable to attend this date, please email so we can provide information on future opportunities.
The day will encompass a range of drills, fun games and coaching tips all with the aim of improving junior bowls performance. Full details of the day are below:
State Under 18 open training session
Date: Sunday March 31st
Venue: Henley Bowling Club; East Tce, Henley Beach
Time: 9:00am for 9:30am start until 3:00pm (don’t have to stay all day)
Cost: $2 (green fee supplied to club)
Bring: Bowls (loan bowls required if necessary, hat, drink, flat soled shoes)
We look forward to seeing as many junior bowlers from around the state in attendance as possible.
