Officials play an integral part of the game of bowls and with the assistance of a great number of volunteer Presenters and Assessors, Bowls SA is always looking for ways to assist all officials, not only with their development, but with opportunities to excel.

Bowls Australia Shop
Bowls Australia is the national sporting organisation responsible for the leadership, development and management of lawn bowls in Australia.
Officials are able to purchase apparel and resources such as officiating manuals and law books through their online shop.
Skills Sessions
The Bowls SA Officiating Advisory Committee run training sessions for the currently accredited Marker, Measurers and Umpires to sharpen their skills in between accreditation years.
These sessions are designed for an accredited official to come along and gain some tips and tricks around marking a game, using the measuring equipment and get some clarification on rules that are you are not 100% sure on.

Bowls Australia is the national sporting organisation responsible for the leadership, development and management of lawn bowls in Australia.
They set the course requirements and policies for Officials and the sport of Bowls in Australia.
Sport Australia
Sport Australia, formally the Australian Sports Commission, is the Australian Government agency responsible for supporting and investing in sport in Australia.
Their Community Officiating General Principles online course has been developed to assist officials in learning the basic skills they will need to officiate effectively.
Play By The Rules
Play by the Rules provides information, resources, tools and free online training to increase the capacity and capability of administrators, coaches, officials, players, parents and spectators to assist them in preventing and dealing with discrimination, harassment, child safety, inclusion and integrity issues in sport.
