
Changes to Heat and Inclement Weather Policy
The Bowls SA Board have approved two new heat and inclement weather policies
The following information relates to Bowls SA’s corporate governance framework.
Within the sport of Bowls, there is a policy and procedure hierarchy that sets out the documentation that defines and governs the sport, the organisations affiliated, and the people involved.
This hierarchy is as follows: Bowls Australia, State and Territory Associations (ie Bowls SA), Associations and Clubs.
Constitution
The Bowls SA Constitution provides the framework and rules by which the organisation is governed. Bowls SA is a company limited by guarantee.

The Constitution empowers the Bowls Australia Board to create policies and guidelines for the administration of the sport.
Policies that apply to all levels of the sport: BA, states, regions/districts/associations, players
Bowls Australia’s Sports Integrity page outlines all matters related to the National Integrity Framework.
The National Integrity Framework is a set of policies that apply to everyone involved in our sport and which sets expectations about behaviour and conduct in Bowls. There are four core policies which make up the National Integrity Framework. These are:
These core policies are underpinned by the Complaints, Disputes and Discipline Policy, which explains how people who have breached a National Integrity Framework policy are held accountable for doing the wrong thing.
