Communication key as Bowls SA begins statewide check in with clubs
Over the next month, Bowls SA staff will be calling all 213 clubs across the state to check in.
With the 2020/21 season completed, and planning for the 2021/22 campaign under way, Bowls SA wants to hear how things are going across all clubs and associations in the 12 regions.
The calls will cover things such as any successes clubs have had or challenges clubs are currently facing, how committees feel about managing a major incident, what projects clubs are looking at seeking funding support for, how clubs are using Bowlslink, and what further support clubs would like from Bowls SA.
Bowls SA Business Services Manager Louise McDermott said maintaining communication with clubs is crucial to ensure the best assistance can be provided.
“Keeping the lines of communication between Bowls SA and our clubs is something we value greatly,” she said.
“Talking to all the clubs gives us the best idea as to any concerns or questions we need to look into.
“We want to make sure our clubs are equipped as best possible across all areas to ensure our game can continue to thrive here in South Australia.”
Club officials will receive correspondence from Bowls SA to assist with organising dates and times for these phone calls.
