2018-19 Champions Week 2 – Day 3
Day three of Champions Week 2 saw the return of sunshine and some glorious Autumn weather for the Final 16 and Quarter Finals of the Men’s and Women’s Sports Centre State Singles events.
There were some high quality players in both fields which produced some enthralling and captivating games topped off with some exciting finishes. Such was the closeness of some games that with a two and a quarter hour time limit in place for the 21 shots up singles matches, that a winner was decided without a player reaching 21. One game especially had scores tied at 19 each before the bell rang which meant an extra end had to be played after the allotted time expired.

Tomorrow will see the conclusion of Champions Week 2 for 2019 at the Murray Bridge Bowling Club. We will have the Semi Finals and Finals of our Sports Centre Men’s and Women’s State Singles as well as the Semi Finals and Finals of the Men’s Champion of Champion Pairs events with roll up commencing from 9:30am.
