South Coast Bowls Fest
After the first two successful Bowls Fests in the Yorke Peninsula and South East, Bowls Fest is coming to the South Coast and is fast approaching. The dates for this year’s South Coast Bowls Fest is Monday the 15th of April to Thursday 18th April. Monday the 15th of April sees the Alexandrina Senior Supa Series at Strathalbyn Bowling Club.
Tuesday the 16th of April entails the Alexandrina Senior Supa Series at Port Elliot Bowling Club. Also on the Tuesday is a BowlsLink Membership training course which is perfect for club secretaries and/or any membership officers. This event is going to be held at Encounter Bay Bowling Club.
On Wednesday the 17th of April is the Business of Bowls Breakfast. This event welcomes any club board members, club sponsors to attend for a free breakfast. This breakfast encourages clubs to associate with other clubs. It also promotes the introduction and liaising with potential sponsors and business people. There will be numerous guest speakers at this event which may be a great way to potentially network and form relationships. Also on the Wednesday at the Goolwa Bowling Club is the final day of the Alexandrina Supa Series.
On the final day of the South Coast Bowls Fest, Thursday the 18th of April, there is a Coaching Session held by State coach Tony Lucas. This is a great session for those who are looking to learn new tips and some tricks to apply to bowls games. The course assists bowlers to grow and improve in bowls while learning new skills.
