Coach Development Day
Bowls SA in partnership with Henselite and the Coaching & Junior Committee are pleased to announce an upcoming date for a Coach Development Day.
Bowls SA Coaching Development Days are a great opportunity for accredited coaches to network, develop and learn skills, participate in on green activities and share ideas. The days are not just limited to coaches but are also a great opportunity for members whom may be interested in coaching in the future to come along and get a taste for what coaching is all about so anyone can register.
The Coaching Development Day is to be held Friday September 13, 2019 at Playford Bowling Club and as a draft will include the following:
10:00am Technical skills, drills and Coaching theory with State Men’s Coach – Les Carter
11:30am Tips for Coaching players with Bowling arms with SA arm bowler – Peter Roberts
1:30pm Tips and discussion on coaching successful junior sessions with the BSA coaching committee
Drill sharing and ideas.
Cost: $10 (includes Subway lunch) to be paid on the day.
Time: 10.00am – 2.30pm (approx) registration opens at 9.30am.
Bring: Bowls, Bowls Shoes, Pen, Paper.
All members are welcome to attend the day. Accredited coaches are encouraged to bring along a friend/ another member.
