Berri Barmera Senior Supa Series locked in
The Riverland will once again host a two-day Senior Supa Series event later this year.
The Berri Barmera Senior Supa Series event will be held on Monday, May 3 and Tuesday, May 4.
Matches on the Monday will be played at the Berri Bowling Club, while the Barmera Bowling Club will host Tuesday’s competition.
Bowls SA Operations Manager Matthew Northcott said it was an exciting time to lock in another Senior Supa Series event.
“The Senior Supa Series events are always popular and we are excited to be taking one up to the Riverland,” he said.
“A big thank you must go to the Berri and Barmera bowling clubs for hosting the event.
“The Riverland is a fantastic region and we are encouraging people from across the state to enter the event and experience their wonderful hospitality and facilities.”
Teams are able to enter for one or both days of the event, with the cost being $100 per day for each team.
The on green action each day will see players take part in two games of fours, along with two games of three-bowl pairs in a split format over lunch.
$700 of prize money will be available each day for the top three teams.
