Australian Under 18 Championships
Our South Australian Junior team enjoyed a successful week in Bendigo for the Australian Under 18 Championships. The team performed well throughout qualifying and ultimately qualified for five medal matches out of eight disciplines.
In the end our South Australians walked away with a Boys Fours Silver Medal (Jackson Saunders, Matthew Freebairn, Corey Hicks & Danyon Greenslade), Boys Singles Bronze medal (Nathan Black), Girls Pairs Bronze Medal (Kate Argent-Bowden & Grace Moloney) and a Boys Triples Bronze Medal (Matthew Freebairn, Corey Hicks & Danyon Greenslade). Lucy Tiller, Sheridon Bodnar and Faith Scholes were also key members of the team which ultimately saw SA finish fourth overall. SA Member Kyra Williams was also fortunate enough to gain valuable experience in representing an NT composite team. Well done to all involved.
