2021 Country Round Robin – Day two Results
Another big day of play in the books for the Men’s & Women’s 2021 Country Round Robin events at the Marion and Lockleys Bowling Clubs respectively. It was a perfect day of weather although the warm conditions of 35 degrees tested the players mental stamina throughout the day. The Country Round Robin is a difficult event to win, as teams need to play at a consistently high level for long hours over the four days of play.
In the Men’s event, the defending champions Region 7 – Fleurieu & KI remain undefeated after four games and are looking strong to go back to back. Region 1 – South Eastern sporting their new playing tops sit in the top three alongside region 6 – Eastern both with a 3-1 record.
Whilst in the women’s event Region 5 – Eyre Peninsula sit on top also undefeated after four games with two gritty wins on day two. Defending champions Region 7 – Fleurieu & KI had a successful day, winning both matches to be sitting at 3-1 in second place.

Play will begin at 8:30am on Thursday and Friday and we encourage all bowlers to come down and see the best bowlers the country has to offer as the race for the title heats up.
