2024-25 Prestige Medley Champions Crowned
The highly anticipated 2024-25 Prestige Medley tournament has concluded, with champions crowned after a thrilling competition. Featuring 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams representing their respective regions, the event showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
Women’s Competition – Playford Bowling Club
Throughout the competition, Region 9 Metro North and Region 7 Fleurieu & KI demonstrated exceptional consistency. Metro North remained undefeated until round 5, where they suffered their only loss. However, their strong performances in earlier rounds ensured they secured a place in the final. Fleurieu & KI also had a strong campaign, earning enough points to advance despite a tough challenge in the later rounds.
In the gold medal match, Region 9 Metro North emerged victorious, defeating Region 7 Fleurieu & KI with a final score of 42 shots to 35 (10 points to 2).

Men’s Competition – Modbury Bowling Club
The men’s division saw a fierce competition, with Region 12 Metro West and Region 2 Yorke Peninsula leading the way. Both teams remained undefeated until round 5, where they each suffered a loss. Despite this setback, their accumulated points throughout the tournament secured their spots in the final.
The gold medal match saw Region 2 Yorke Peninsula claim the title, defeating Region 12 Metro West with a final score of 45 shots to 36 shots.

Congratulations to the Champions
A massive congratulations to Region 9 Metro North and Region 2 Yorke Peninsula for their outstanding performances and championship victories.
Bowls SA extends its heartfelt gratitude to Modbury Bowling Club and Playford Bowling Club for their invaluable support in hosting the Prestige Medley events this year. Special appreciation is also extended to the dedicated officials and numerous volunteers whose efforts ensured the success of the tournament.
