Bowls SA meets with new Patron
On Wednesday, 20 April, Bowls SA President Tim Dodds and Caretaker CEO Taryn Sexton attended Government House to meet the new Patron of Bowls SA, Mr Rod Bunten.
Mr Bunten shared fond memories of playing bowls during his time studying physics at Oxford and advised he still has a set of carpet bowls.
The trio discussed the changing nature of bowls and volunteering in SA, and the important role bowls clubs play in communities across the state.
Opportunities for future support were also discussed.
