2020 Coach Development Day – February
The first Coach Development Day of 2020 has been successfully run at the Holdfast Bay Bowling Club, with 50 of the states coaches attending the day.
The day consisted of 3 presentations and a subway lunch.
The first presentation was Tony Lucas (State Ladies Coach) who discussed the issues coaches face and how to overcome them, plus a great discussion around strategy and changing a game. These strategies were thoroughly discussed with all the coaches in the room which allowed great knowledge to be shared.
Second up was Renata Callisto who talked about the ways she has been coached in the passed and discussed some of her current drills and training techniques.
Then the 3rd and final presentation for the day was James Wilson who showed and discussed a variety of drills and games to assist junior bowlers and school students beginning the sport.
