Vale Jim Roberts
It is with great sadness that Bowls SA advise of the recent passing of James (Jim) Roberts of the Port Elliot Bowling Club.
Jim was a well known member and served in a number of volunteer roles for a very lengthy period of time. In his time Jim served as a member on the Bowls SA Match & Program Committee for over 30 years, he was a Regional state event manager in Region 7 and also Great Southern Bowling Association Secretary since 2014. Jim spent a large amount of time in the Metropolitan area, being named a Life Member of the Edwardstown Bowling Club before moving down south to Hayborough in recent years.
Bowls SA would like to take this time to reflect positively on the contribution Jim made to our sport which will be sorely missed.
We offer our condolences to the Roberts Family and members of the affected clubs.
