Under 18 State Championships – Day 4

Day 4 and we have MEDALS!

Thursday we started the day off with the Triples medals playoffs, where we saw Adam Black, Kate Argent-Bowden and Nathan Black playoff for gold against Kobe Jarman, Liam Coe and Tyson Black which saw Nathan, Kate and Adam walk away with Gold!

Following the Triples medals playoff we jumped into the pairs, starting with the semi-finals. Harry Burgess and Faith Scholes lined up against Corey Hicks and Adam Black, where Corey and Adam were able to chisel away to a win booking their spot in the Gold Medal playoff. In the other Semi Final we saw Nathan Black and Kate Argent-Bowden collect a win against Liam Coe and Lucy Howard.

This then followed by the medal playoffs which saw the below match-ups;

GOLD Playoff: Corey Hicks / Adam Black VS Kate Argent-Bowden / Nathan Black

BRONZE Playoff: Liam Coe / Lucy Howard VS Faith Scholes / Harry Burgess

 

Medals were won by the below;

BRONZE – Liam Coe / Lucy Howard

 

SILVER – Nathan Black / Kate Argent-Bowden

 

GOLD – Corey Hicks / Adam Black

 

Our Boys and Girls singles have been postponed with the boys playing the semi finals and medal playoffs starting from 9:15am Friday (22/1/2021) and the girls completing theirs on the 21^st of February at Grange Bowling Club.
