UNDER 18 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS – DAY 3
Day 3 is in the books and the weather has turned it on! Triples was on the cards and it delivered some of the highest quality bowls for the week.
Game 1 started off with a draw from Nathan Black’s triple which included Kate Argent-Bowden and Adam Black against Faith Scholes’ team of Corey Hicks and Cameron Hill. Cooper Hocking’s crew of Evie Exton and Sheridon Bodnar chalked up their first win for the day with a 23-15 win over the 3 youngsters in Anda Panchawat, Riley Hart and Mia Baldey.
Game 2 took off, with Declan Warner, Charley Horewood-Gitsham and super sub Ryan Hill collecting a narrow win over up and comers Tara Hurst, Hanika Booth and Sub Ella Jansen 19-18. Faith Scholes, Cameron Hill and Corey Hicks bouncing back from their first game draw, with a handy 15 win over future guns Anda Panchawat, Riley Hart and Mia Baldey.
Game 3 had Charlie Hicks’ side consisting of fellow clubman Jayden Green and Yorke Peninsula’s Harrison Geater-Johnson collect a large win over Declan Warner, Charley Horewood-Gitsham and Ryan Hill 29-11. Tyson Black, Liam Coe and Kobe Jarman also collecting a win over Matthew Armitage, Dudley Russel and Cody Letton to book their spot in the semi finals.
