Under 18 State Championships – Day 2
Day 2 of the Under 18 State Championships was held today with the pairs component chiseled down to the Semi Finalists.
Game 1 saw some extremely close games in every section, with the biggest difference being just 8 shots which was collected in Section 2 by Adelaide youngster Jayden Green and Arthurton’s Harrison Geater-Johnson. Throughout these close games, we also saw a draw between Indi and Ava Vass from Curramulka and Liam Coe (Gladstone) and Lucy Howard (Mallala).
Game 2 had a big turn around after lunch with some big wins. Nathan Black and Kate Argent-Bowden collecting the largest with a 43-7 win over the Millswood pair. Corey Hicks and Adam Black also taking a big win with a 36-5 over Cody Letton and Declan Warner. First year players Hanika Booth and Tara Hurst chalking up their first win for the day with a 26-13 win over Matthew Armitage and Dudley Russell.
Game 3 had a bit of everything including a handy win from Tyson Black and Charlie Hicks downing Cody Letton and Declan Warner 30-9. This win booking themselves a ticket into the knockouts. Liam Coe and Lucy Howard also locking in a spot in the knockouts with a 22-9 victory over Kane Jansen and Connon Shepherd.

NGQ: Harrison Geater-Johnson (Arthurton) / Jayden Green (Adelaide)

KO 3: N Black/Argent-Bowden VS T Black/Ch. Hicks
KO 4: Coe/Howard VS Green/Geater-Johnson
Semi Finalists will line up on Thursday as below;

Semi Finals will be played at Adelaide Bowling Club from approximately 12:30pm.
