Thrilling opening to SA Super League finals
The 2022 SA Super League grand final match ups for all three grades are locked in following a thrilling finals double header at the Salisbury Bowling Club on Sunday.
The League qualifying final between the Mallee Pirates and Heysen Comets was an exciting affair, with a late comeback from the Pirates seeing the overall score finish tied.
This saw the all three rinks play an extra end, with the Comets coming away on top across all of them to clinch victory and book their spot in the grand final.
The elimination final saw the Central Chargers defeat the Northern Knights and move into the preliminary final.
The Chargers were able to carry their momentum into the preliminary final and they proved too strong for the Pirates across all three rinks, booking a grand final clash with the Comets next week.
In the Reserves, the Eastern Raiders won the qualifying final and moved straight into the grand final, before the Comets overcame the Southern Blazers in a nail-biting preliminary final to also book their spot.
The Western Rogues won their way straight through to the Junior grand final, while the Blazers also locked in a spot in the decider with a close win over the Chargers in the preliminary final.
