The Bowl is Rolling on the Copper Coast with the Seniors Supa Series

by Isaac Trenorden on September 21, 2022

Just over 100 teams from across the state competed throughout the week in the first Seniors Supa Series event of the year, boasting impressive meals, sun, rain and phenomenal competition.

Ardrossan saw 32 teams of men and women over the age of 60 competing in the most impressive weather of the week. Finishing with 4 wins, the team of Joe Fahey, Sharon Cavanagh, Jenny Redshaw and Kym Redshaw from Moonta Bowling Club held onto first place, undefeated. In Second place, saw team Somerton’s, Yvonne Bekeris, Jen Roberts, Tony Roberts and Rob Walton with 3 wins and a draw, and in third place, our state Over 60s representative team of Neil Rogers, Mark Tonkin, Daryll Steinwedel and Ken Holtham also finishing on 3 wins. Could a draw have seen them in second place?
