South Australian qualifiers locked in for national event
The South Australian qualifying events for the Australian Indoor Singles were held over the weekend, with three local bowlers punching their ticket to the national event.
Nuriootpa’s Stuart Forbes overcame a talent-packed group to win the qualification event at Kapunda on Saturday, while Grange’s Nathan Black won the event at Wallaroo to also book his spot in the Australian Indoor Singles.
Somerton’s Lea Modra also overcame an incredibly strong women’s field at Wallaroo on Sunday.

The three players will now head to the Australian Indoor Singles next season, with the winners of that event to represent Australia at the World Indoor Singles.
