SA Super League November 13th – SA Super League stays on the road

by Marketing on November 12, 2020

The SA Super League will remain on the road once again tomorrow night for round five action, with matches being played across four different venues.

Fresh from their first loss of the season last week, the Northern Knights will tackle the Eastern Raiders at Salisbury in the round five MATCH OF THE ROUND.

The Knights’ depth will be tested in the absence of four first-choice players, including Nathan Pedersen and Luke Pietersma.

The Raiders will be bolstered by the return of Michael Lodge and Craig Goldfinch to their line-up.

The Central Chargers will be looking to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Western Rogues when they do battle with the Southern Blazers at West Lakes.

The Chargers have shuffled their league side around, with Ben Bowman stepping up to play singles, while Mark Haines will skipper the triples.

The Blazers head into the clash unchanged as they look for a win on the road.

The Heysen Comets will host the Mallee Pirates at Adelaide, with the latter full of confidence following an upset win over the Northern Knights in round four.

Andrew Peters comes in for the Comets, who are still looking for their first win of the season.

Pirates’ coach John Morris has kept the same line-up this week as his side looks to score its second win in a row.

The third-placed Western Rogues will take on the South Eastern Spartans at Marion.

Ben Fidock comes into the Spartans’ line-up for his first league game of the season.

Gabe Nardecchia has been rewarded for strong form in the reserves with the chance to step up and play singles in the league side for the Rogues this week due to Simon Geater-Johnson being unavailable.

Once again plenty of strong regional and metropolitan talent will be on display in the four reserves and under 21 matches this week as teams look to breakaway in the overall standings in what has been two very tightly contested competitions so far.
