SA Super League – Launch Night Announcement
The 2020 SA Super League season isn’t far away as the eight franchise teams prepare to light up the South Australian Bowling landscape from October through till December 2020.
In an important update to the scheduling, Round 1 of the season, which was originally due to be played on Friday October 16 has now been rescheduled to Sunday October 25th to set up a massive opening day double header for Round 1 & 2 to launch the season on this date. This rescheduling was to accommodate the home Preliminary Final being played by Port Adelaide in the AFL on the original date of October 16.
Whilst it means that players, spectators and bowls enthusiasts alike will need to wait a little bit longer to see the launch of the season, the rescheduling won’t alter the fact that when games get going, you will not want to miss the action.
Re scheduled Round 1 & 2 schedule:
Sunday October 25, 2020 – All games at Salisbury Bowling Club
10am – SA Super League Reserves and Under 21 matches – Round 1
12pm – SA Super League matches – Round 1
9:30am, 11am & 12:30pm – SA Super League Match of the round – Round 1
2pm – SA Super League Reserves and Under 21 matches – Round 2
4pm – SA Super League matches – Round 2
2:30pm, 4pm & 5:30pm – SA Super League Match of the round – Round 2
