SA Super League Kicks Off on Sunday

by BowlsSA1 on October 21, 2020

The highly anticipated start of the third season of the SA Super League kicks off this Sunday 25th October at Salisbury Bowling Club.

With a doubleheader to start the proceedings, it sure looks to be a big day ahead for the players, teams and spectators alike.

With the introduction of larger squad numbers under each franchise, the competition now sees the introduction of a reserves competition which will only bolster the already tough competition under the SA Super League banner.

The third season also sees the introduction of a Match of the Round, which will see all three disciplines lived stream consecutively throughout the round, seeing it kicked off with the Singles match, which will lead into the Triples and then Pairs rounding out the match of the round. This will give the viewers at home the opportunity to see how a whole match will unfold.

We are excited to announce the teams that have been selected for the SA Super League, reserves and under 21 competition for Rounds 1 and 2. https://www.bowlssa.com.au/player-selection/ As you will see, some of the states best talent is going head to head, match after match so there is bound to be some ripping games of Bowls.

You as a spectator and lover of Bowls can come out to the Salisbury Bowling club during Sunday to check out all the bowls action up close and personal. There will be hot food for sale and of course the bar will be open for all your refreshment needs. If you can not come out to Salisbury Bowling Club, we will be live streaming a Match of the Round each round which you can watch on the Bowls SA Facebook page.

This year’s SA Super League competition could not have happened without our great sponsors. Thank you to West End, City of Salisbury and Sports Centre for their ongoing support of the SA Super League competition.
