Prestige Medley Champions for 22/23
This weekend 12 men’s and 12 women’s teams played off to compete for their regions in the 2022/23 Prestige Medley, with champions crowned today.
The men’s event, which was held at Modbury Bowling Club saw Yorke Peninsula (Region 2) win their way through to the final against Metro North (Region 9), after they got through with 3 wins, 1 loss and a draw.
In section two of the men’s draw Metro North (Region 9) had a convincing win against Lower North (Region 8) with comfortable wins by triples, pairs and fours, to make the final.
The final was a nail biter with Metro North (Region 9) taking the championship over Yorke Peninsula (Region 2) by clinching the pairs and fours and taking the overall by just ONE shot.

The women’s final at Playford Bowling Club saw Metro East (Region 10) win their way through to the final against Metro South (Region 11) after results fell their way in the final round of matches.
In section two of the women’s draw Metro South (Region 11) won through to the final with a strong victory in the triples.
In the final Metro South (Region 11) defeated Metro East (Region 10) by a solid win in the pairs to take the women’s championship.
