Para Physical Classification Day
Do you, or someone you know, have a condition that may make them eligible to compete in Multi-Disability Bowls SA State Events or progress toward South Australian representation at National events?
Bowls SA is excited to provide a clear and supported pathway for Members and Clubs to understand and access the Para-Physical Classification process.
Why classification matters
Classification is required for players who wish to:
- Compete in Bowls SA Multi-Disability State Events
- Be considered for SA Para-representative opportunities
- Progress through recognised state and national pathways
What does the classification process involve?
Before the Classification Day
- A Certificate of Diagnosis, signed by a GP
On the Classification Day (with certified classifiers)
- Bench Test – completed by a medical classifier
- Technical Test – completed by a technical classifier
- In-game assessment
Classification Day details
- Sunday, 15 November, 2026
- Time: 9am arrival for 9:30am
- Venue: Bowling Club TBC
