Pairs produce the goods on day three

250 bowlers from across the state took part in the pairs sectionals of the MGA Women’s Country Carnival.

32 sections were played across Adelaide today, with plenty of exciting action keeping everyone on edge.

The Mallala duo of P. Maureen/M. Cox progressed from section three at Brighton thanks to shots up, while Naracoorte’s C. Murphy/S. Bennett took out section five undefeated.

Moonta’s M. Dall/J. Wilson took out a competitive section 11 at Ascot Park, while Berri’s K. Treloar/C. Nicholls were clinical in section 12 at the same venue.

Over at Kensington-Marryatville, the Stansbury pair of K. Watts/K. Ricketts won all three matches in section 19, while Laura’s L. Tenney/K. Lynch finished on top of section 22.

J. Smith/D. Pearce were narrow winners of section 26 at Salisbury, while J. Kotz (Keith)/C. Greenslade (Riverton) were undefeated in section 27.

Tomorrow’s fours knockouts action kicks off at 9:30am, with matches to be played at the Ascot Park Bowling Club.
