by admin on February 3, 2023

The weather wasn’t ideal bowling conditions in Adelaide today, with a heavy winds and sporadic rain the conditions were forever changing.

The weather didn’t stop mid north pairing of G Brand (Laura) and B Murdoch (Wirrabara) who collected a large win this morning, a nose in front in their third round game, followed by a one shot win against fellow club mate in G Smith (Laura) and D Steinwedel (Kingscote). Brand and Murcdoch then went on to collect a large win in their 5th Knockout, winning 13-5.

Kangaroo Island has been well represented throughout the knockouts with two teams taking losses to the previously mentioned pair of Brand and Murdoch, who will face another KI pairing of Barrett (Kingscote) and Hately (Parndana) in what will be a thrilling Semi Final Monday at Marion.

Over to Ascot Park, where Kadina’s pair of Hines and Bushell collected a convincing win in their first game of the day, but only snuck through rounds 3 and 4 with a one shot win in both games. The pair from Kadina will find themselves in a semi final at Marion on Monday.

Region 4 pairing of Collins (Waikerie) and State Representative Voigt (Angaston) started their day off with a tight one-shot win, however were later toppled by Yorke Peninsula’s  B Earle (Kadina) and K Robinson (Wallaroo), who have booked their place in the Semi-Final where there is now sure to be a Yorke Peninsula team in the final!
