Bowls Australia recently released its latest national rankings, as of the end of October, with a number of South Australians featuring in the top 100 of the men’s and women’s lists.

The National Rankings System operates on a yearly rolling-points system, where all points accrued are retained for a 12-month period and are then discounted.

Players can accrue ranking points from all national events, State Championships, State Champion of Champion and selected club events.

The highest ranked South Australian is Craig Mills, who finds himself at number five in the men’s rankings.

Other notably ranked South Australian men’s players include Ashley Klose at 28, Nathan Black at 35, Samuel Dietrich at 42 and Adrian Green at 64.

Anne Onto leads the way for South Australia’s women, as she finds herself ranked 14.

She is closely followed by Jackie Field at 27 and Kerry Treloar at 37, while Cath Greenslade and Christine Thulborn are tied at 41.
