MGA Women's Country Carnival Day 4

Knockout stages under way

The business end of the 2023 MGA Women’s Country Carnival kicked off today with fours knockouts matches played at the Ascot Park Bowling Club.

The final 16 teams did battle, with the semi-finalists locked in for finals day on Monday at Marion.

S. Cavanagh (Moonta)/J. Redshaw (Moonta)/H. Moulds (Moonta)/C. Poulton (Bordertown) won their way through to the semi-finals, where they will face M. Morrow (Barmera)/S. Redding (Yorketown)/M. Atkins (Kapunda)/J. Barnett (Monash).

Continuing the strong Riverland flavour, J. Strauss (Waikerie)/J. Morley (Waikerie)/J. John (Monash)/J. Gartner (Barmera) will face off with the Snowtown foursome of V. Rowan/L. Welke/S. Kempster/S. Wilson for a spot in the final.

Tomorrow’s pairs knockouts action kicks off at 9:30am, with matches to be played at the Modbury Bowling Club.
