Joe Schwab set to depart Bowls SA
Bowls SA’s Marketing and Media Officer, Joe Schwab, is set to finish up in his role on Friday 17 June.
Joe leaves us to pursue his passion of sports journalism as Sports Editor at the Adelaide Hills Herald newspaper.
Joe said he will always fondly remember his time working in bowls.
“I have been lucky enough to meet so many wonderful people and establish lifelong friendships,” he said.
“I have had a front row seat to learning all about this great game and I take with me a serious love for the sport and a passion to follow it closely at all levels in the future.”
Bowls SA Caretaker CEO Taryn Sexton thanked Joe for his efforts at Bowls SA over the past 18 months.
“On behalf of Bowls SA, we thank Joe for his consistent and reliable contributions to the promotion of bowls in SA and we will miss his calm energy and humour,” she said.
“We are proud to have contributed to Joe’s career progression and wish him all the best in his future career and life journey.”
