Harvey hangs up the Reds shirt
SA Women’s Squad Member Cassandra Harvey last week announced that she will be hanging up the Red’s shirt as a player indefinitely to focus on a busy lifestyle and her duties as one of the South Australian Under 18 coaches.
Having notched up 54 senior games for the state including skipping a rink in the most recent series played against Victoria in January 2020, Harvey a winner of multiple state titles hopes to return as a player in the future but for now is unable to commit to the demands of being a state player along side her other roles. Cassandra hopes to breed many future State senior representatives through her work in the State Under 18 program, that she may be able to partner up with in the future when she hopes to return to the playing ranks.
Bowls SA acknowledges Cassandra’s representation and commitment over a number of years and wish her well with her future endeavours.
