Great Southern Bowling Association Season Opens
The 2022-2023 season of the Great Southern Bowling Association was officially opened on Sunday, September 18 at the Goolwa Bowling Club on a somewhat wintery spring day.
President Daryl Cearns welcomed representatives and players from the Association clubs and a special welcome to Bowls SA President Tim Dodds.
A total of 80 players attended and watched as Patron June Halstead rolled the first Jack and Tim Dodds the first bowl to open the new season.
2021-2022 Champion of Champion winners were presented with their plaques along with Pennant winners for Saturday Open Gender and Thursday Women.
