Eastern Eyre Peninsula crowns Champion of Champions
Some of the best bowlers in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula Bowling Association have been kept busy as of late with association Champion of Champions competitions reaching the business end.
The men’s singles final at Port Neill on Sunday, February 21, saw Phil Klingberg, of Kimba, take on Kym Wakefield, of Cleve, with the latter coming away victorious.
The women’s singles final, also at Port Neill saw Di Eatts, of Kimba, score a win over Denise Rehn, of Cowell.
The men’s pairs final, which was held on Sunday, was won by Port Neill’s Kym Shepherd and Doug Jewell.
The women’s pairs final was won by the Wudinna duo of Veronica Matthews and Kerry Winter.
