Your Club needs to anonymously capture vaccination rates and attitudes towards mandating vaccines in the Bowls Community.
On Tuesday, 23rd of November, with 80% of South Australians aged 16 years and over predicted to be fully vaccinated, South Australia’s COVID-Ready Plan will come into effect. Amongst a number of changes in current restrictions, state borders will be opened and vaccinated international arrivals will be permitted direct access to our state. The new plan has different implications for those who have and have not been vaccinated for COVID-19.
As a direct result, over the coming weeks and months the incidences of COVID-19 within South Australia are widely predicted to increase.
In response, Bowls SA are conducting an anonymous survey to capture vaccination rates and attitudes towards mandating vaccines in the Bowls community. Bowls SA will collate the results on a club-by-club and send confidential summaries to each Club President. The data from these surveys will assist each club in understanding their risk levels, attitudes of members and ensure that consultation requirements are met.
As a participant at your local club, regardless of level or type of involvement, your views will be important to deciding how your club should respond to the ‘living with COVID’ scenarios we face as a state going forward.
