Champions Week 2019/20
Bowls SA and the State Event Committee are pleased to announce the 2019/2020 Champions Week Draws. After being postponed from April, the event will be now held at the Toorak-Burnside Bowling Club from the 19th – 27 September 2020.
Champions Week will crown the champions in the Men’s & Women’s Sports Centre State Singles, State Pairs, State Triples, State Fours, State Mixed Pairs, Champion of Champion Pairs and Champion of Champion Singles events.
Due to Current Covid-19 safety measures and a limited number of persons able to attend the Toorak Burnside Bowling Club, Bowls SA respectfully ask that supporters at the venue be kept to a bare minimum (required family members only) and that supporters in attendance follow any directions provided by Bowls SA event managers or Toorak Burnside Bowling Club officials to ensure the club remains compliant with its Covid-19 safe plan . With this, Bowls SA will invest in Live Streaming more games directly to our Facebook page, so you can support your club mates or family members online also.
All players will be encouraged to practice Covid-19 safe behaviour such as withdrawing from the event if feeling unwell, social distancing, good hand hygiene and limiting the handling of equipment throughout play to ensure a successful event can be held.
