BPL Cup review
South Australia this week had two club teams represented at the BPL Cup played alongside the BPL at Club Pine Rivers in Queensland. The BPL Cup provides an opportunity for Club based teams to progress through various rounds to National Finals. The SA qualifiers for 2019 were teams representing the Lockleys & Bute Bowling Clubs respectively, represented by the below players.
Lockleys Bowling Club:
Bob Ormston, Ash Halls, Theo Katsivas
Bute Bowling Club:
Bob Scott, Brett Herbert, Graham Green, John Pridham
Both teams had reasonable success with Lockleys winning two sectional games and narrowly missing out on progressing to the semi finals and Bute also registering a win. Well done to both teams on winning their way through to the national finals.
