BowlsLink Upgrade August 2024

The BowlsLink membership area will receive a significant upgrade from Bowls Australia on Monday, 5 August 2024. Click here to view their media release. The new features will include:

1. Expanded Club Information area – more fields relating to club governance, facilities and programs.
2. Upgraded Membership Area—Improved functionality for membership categories allows clubs to track memberships more easily. Historical records on membership will now be retained.
3. Upgraded Finance – allows easy way for memberships to be generated and paid via Invoicing.
4. Competitions—Some improvements, including an auto shuffle for teams in pennants (replicating a card draw).

In the update, the Membership Types will be grouped under one of the five new Participation Types, shown below.

Bowls SA Staff have re-aligned the playing rights for all current categories as per below;

• Playing rights categories becomes Competition Bowler
• Non-playing rights categories become Non-Player / Experience / Program / Social Club Bowler

Once the upgrade is released, Bowls Australia will provide online resources which will be available on the BowlsLink Support Website. We will continue to work with clubs and provide assistance and support as required.
