Bowls SA host a number of on green events throughout the year for varying skill and experience levels.
Bowls SA State Events
SportsCentre State Singles, State Pairs, State Mixed Pairs, State Triples, State Fours, Champion of Champions Singles, Champion of Champions Pairs,
MGA Country Carnivals, State Multi-Disability Singles,
Under 18 Championships
These events are generally open to all members who hold a full membership with a Bowls SA club. There is no pre determined level of experience or ability needed to enter and give the events a go. The events are an opportunity to form your own team and try to win your way through to becoming a state champion and in some instances have the opportunity to compete to become a national champion. Some events do have eligibility clauses in place to compete and Bowls SA encourage you to read through the conditions of entry prior to nominating a team.

Bowls SA major / representation events
Country Round Robin, Prestige Medley, SA Super League
Members can only participate in these events if selected by the relevant authorities in charge of any given representative team. These events are pathway events through to being selected in our South Australian State teams.
Bowls SA State representation Series
South Australia vs Victoria (Annually)
Nationals Events (Annually)
South Australian Men’s, Women’s & Under 18 teams compete in a series annually against Victoria. In addition, these same teams as well as South Australian Over 60’s Men & Women and Multi disability teams all play in their own national versions of National competitions against all other states. Members can only participate in these events if selected by South Australian State Selectors.
Bowls SA Participation events
Senior Supa Series, School Championships
These events are generally more participation based as once off tournaments to encourage players to in the Seniors and Juniors category to play with against people of their own age in their respective age groups. All players are welcome to play
