Bowls SA AGM & Board Nomination Information

Bowls SA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held by hybrid of Zoom communication technology and in person at Club Holdfast Bowling Club (583 Anzac Highway, Glenelg North SA 5045) on Monday 21st September 2026, commencing at 1:30pm.

The Annual Report, Order of Business and any supporting papers will be provided with the agenda (Not less than 21 days prior to the AGM). 

CALL FOR AGENDA ITEMS AND NOTICES OF MOTION

All Agenda Items and Notices of Motion shall be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and received by the Bowls SA Office by no later than 12 noon on the 23rd August 2026 by emailing ceo@bowlssa.com.au or by mail to 583A Anzac Highway, Glenelg North 5045.

BOARD DIRECTOR NOMINATIONS

The following Board Director’s terms expire at the conclusion of the 2026 AGM:

Elected Director, female: Katrina Green
Elected Director, female: Heather Cochrane
Elected Director, male: Tim Dodds
Elected Director, male: Keith Seanard

Accordingly, nominations are called for the following positions:

• 2 positions as Elected Director, female, for a term of two years, concluding at the 2028 AGM
• 2 positions as Elected Director, male, for a term of two years, concluding at the 2028 AGM

While all nominations from suitably eligible people are welcome and encouraged, a recent skills audit of the Board determined that in particular these skills are needed: Governance, Data and Analytics, and High Performance. If you have skills in these areas, you are strongly encouraged to nominate.  We would also love to have some great country representation on the Board. 

Each nomination for election for the Board shall be in writing and signed on behalf of the nominating Member Club by its Executive Officer or President and by the nominee.

Lodgment of Nomination form:

• The below nomination form must be submitted before the closing date.
  • Please answer all the questions to the best of your ability. Your response will be shared with the membership-based prior to the AGM
  • Those questions marked with *, require a response.
  • As part of the nomination form, you will be required to provide the following uploads:
    • A signed ‘Nomination of Support Form‘ must also be included as part of the nomination
    • You will be required to supply a portrait photo of yourself which will be used to promote your nomination to the membership base.

Closing Date

Nominations close at midnight on the 23rd August 2026.
