Awards Night 2020

The Bowls SA Awards Night celebrates the achievements of all things that make our game outstanding in South Australia.  Whilst we won’t be able to get our tuxedo’s and fancy dresses on to celebrate together in the current climate, Bowls SA is still committed to recognising the fantastic work put in by our hard working volunteers, athletes and clubs alike for the past year.

Bowls SA will be announcing the finalists for each award over our Facebook & web pages in the coming weeks, to provide initial recognition and celebration of success. Bowls SA explored opportunities to conduct a virtual awards night and still announce winners for these awards in the designated May 22 timeslot, however it was determined that for worthy recognition to occur, that any announcement of winners be postponed until such time that finalists can gather with their peers and celebrate this success. There is some chance the 2020 Awards Night will roll into a combination with the 2021 Awards Night with two years worth of winners announced on this night.

Bowls SA will continue to communicate as to how further recognition of finalists and announcements of winners for each award will be able to take place, as we continue to monitor the environment and receive updates from government.

Until then, we again say congratulations and well done to those named finalists and we thank everyone for their submissions.
