Bowls SA staff going the Mo for a good cause
This month has seen four male Bowls SA staff members letting their facial hair grow for a good cause.
Bowls SA CEO Mark Easton, Operations Manager Matthew Northcott, Relationship Officer Isaac Trenorden and Marketing and Communications Officer Joe Schwab have been growing moustaches as part of Movember.
Movember is a well-known cause, which sees men across the country grow their Mo during the month of November each year, to raise awareness and funds for men’s health.
This includes encouraging men to look after their mental health, along with looking after their physical health, which can include getting regular check ups for things such as prostate cancer.
Bowls SA CEO Mark Easton said it was important to get behind a cause like Movember.
“We are glad to be able to support a great cause,” he said.
“It is such a simple way to help play a part in raising awareness for the importance of men looking after their mental and physical health.
“The cause is even more prevalent this year as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to dictate our lives and as a result it continues to effect the mental health of everyone in the community.
“We are pleased that here at Bowls SA we can be part of raising awareness, and we congratulate others taking part.”
