2024 Australian Under-18 Championships Teams

When the highly decorated South Australian Under 18 team walk into the Australian Under 18 Championships on October 9-10 at Club Tweed, they will do so with a mix of experience and debutants.

After a distinguished 12 months, winning the 2023-24 SA Under 18 Girls Singles Championships, 2023-24 SA Under 18 Girls Player of the Year and on a National stage making the final of the 2024 Under-18 Girls’ Singles at the Australian Open and claiming the bronze medal in the Fours in last years Australian championships, Anda Panchawat will headline the girls team.

Last years stars of the bronze medal team do not stop there, with Ava Vass and Daisy Coe poised and set to return to the National stage for a third and second time respectively.

Hailing 6 and a half hours to the Adelaide metropolitan area for training and competition, is Megan Carey one of the newest debutants. Rounding of the selected five and competing in her first ‘Nationals’ is 2023-24 SA Under 18 Girls Singles runner up Mia Baldey.

Etching his name in the history books and featuring in the boys team is 2023-24 SA Under 18 Boys Singles Champion and 2023-24 SA Under 18 Boys Player of the Year, Kobe Jarman.

After leading his team as the skipper of the triples at last years Australian championships to a bronze medal, Charlie Hicks is looking to bring home a medal of a different colour later in October.

After beating Jarman and Hicks in the 2023-24 SA Under 18 Open Pairs and then joining forces to be crowned triples champions, Liam Coe will once again represent South Australia.

The 2023-24 SA Under 18 Open Triples final featured all five members of the boys team, which came down to a blockbuster of a last end. Making their debut in the side is Ashton Mahoney and the youngest member of the SA contingent at 11 years old, Jayden Green.
