2022 Bowls SA Award Winners Crowned
The 2022 Bowls SA Awards were held at the Morphettville Racecourse tonight, with a crowd of nearly 200 bowlers, sponsors and special guests in attendance.
The winners for each of the awards were as follows:
Volunteer of the Year: Karen Swanson – Freeling Bowling Club
Administrator of the Year: Heather Richards – Port MacDonnell Bowling Club
Coach of the Year: Anthony Moffatt – Port Noarlunga Bowling Club
Official of the Year: David Dipple – Salisbury Bowling Club
Media Recognition Award: John Bevin – Metropolitan Bowls Association
Innovation Award: Modbury Bowling Club – Club App
MGA Club of the Year: Modbury Bowling Club
Under 18 Boy’s Player of the Year: Liam Coe – Gladstone Bowling Club
Under 18 Girl’s Player of the Year: Anda Panchawat – Port Noarlunga Bowling Club
Men’s State Event Player of the Year: Nathan Pedersen – Somerton Bowling Club
Women’s State Event Player of the Year: Laini McGorman – Adelaide Bowling Club
Newly Inducted Life Members: Wayne and Joan Prosser
