2022-23 State Over 60’s Mixed Pairs Finals Cap off the Championship
This week Tuesday through to Thursday the State Over 60’s Mixed Pairs event was held to cap off the 2022/23 State Over 60’s Championship.
The field of 13 sections was played at Modbury Bowling Club. The brisk but blue skies were welcomed for the 9.30am start as the finals played out today.
Wallaroo duo of Ann and Kevin Robinson and Jamestown’s Jacquie Bray and Laura’s Garry Smith shook hands to take equal third place.
Competing in the gold medal match was Hahndorf duo of Val and Geoff Deeble against the formidable Gawler duo of Teresa Dean and Phil Marsden, who came through in the end to take the title 15 shots to 10.
