2021 Country Round Robin – Day One Results
The 2021 Men’s & Women’s Country Round Robin event kicked off at the Marion & Lockleys Bowling Clubs respectively on Tuesday February 9th. After a fantastic finals day of the MGA Men’s Country Carnival the day before, there was no lack of action on the opening day of the Round Robin as the eight country regions started their campaigns for ultimate team glory.
After the opening days play Region 7 – Fleurieu & KI lead the men’s competition, hoping to successfully defend their crown as 2019 champions. Hot on their heels is Region 6 – Eastern who also remain undefeated after wins over Lower North and Upper North.
Whilst in the women’s event Region 4 – North Eastern and Region 5 – Eyre Peninsula both sit on top undefeated after day one. Defending champions Region 7 – Fleurieu & KI are sitting at 1-1 in fifth place.

Play will begin at 9am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and we encourage all bowlers to come down and see the best bowlers the country has to offer.
