2021/22 Event Calendar Release
Bowls SA would like to officially release its event calendar for the 2021/22 season.
One of the major changes to the calendar is the move of the SA Super League from its November/December timeslot, in which it was held in 2020, to February/March in 2022.
Our State sides will be back in action, with a potential series against Victoria on the last weekend of July, before they then tackle the nationals in October.
A Copper Coast Senior Supa Series event will be held from September 20 to September 22, while a Metro Senior Supa Series will take place on January 10 and 11, and the Alexandrina Senior Supa Series will be run from April 11 to April 13.
The State Fours will kick off the state events section of the calendar, with that kicking off on October 24 and finishing on November 5.
That will be followed by the State Pairs, which will kick off on November 12 and wrap up on November 22.
December will see the State Mixed Pairs kick off on December 3 and then finish up on December 19.
The State Singles will kick off the New Year, with sectionals beginning on January 7 and the final to be held on January 24.
The State Under 18 Championships will run from January 17 to January 21, while the MGA Men’s Country Carnival will kick off on January 31 and run through to February 7.
This will then flow into the Country Round Robin from February 8 to February 11.
March will see the introduction of the new State Over 60s Pairs competition, with that to be held over March 7 and 8.
The MGA Women’s Country Carnival will run from March 28 to April 4, and the Prestige Medley will take place on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of April.
The State Triples will run over one weekend from April 22 to April 24, with the State Champion of Champion events and a State Multi Disability event to round out the calendar.
