2020 Country Round Robin – Day Three
Day Three of the Country Round Robin was moving day which saw no teams left undefeated in Women’s competition.
In the Men’s event being held at the Marion Bowling Club, it’s a race in two after another perfect day seeing Region 7 – Fleurieu & KI sitting a top ladder with an unblemished 6-0 record with Region 3 – Upper North with a 5-1 record ready to pounce if the Fleurieu should fail in the final game tomorrow. Fleurieu will face defending champions Region 2 – Yorke Peninsula whilst Upper North will look to take care of Region 5 – Eyre Peninsula to give themselves a shot.

In the Women’s event being played at Lockleys Bowling Club, Region 1 – South Eastern received their first loss of the competition going down to a fired-up Region 4 – North Eastern. With Region 1’s loss saw Region 7 – Fleurieu & KI jump up into first place with 10 points and +76 shots with Region 1 – South Eastern still close behind with 10 points and +69 shots. Region 2 – Yorke Peninsula and Region 5 – Eyre Peninsula are also in with a shot of taking out top prize being just one win away sitting on 8 points +107 and 8 points +42 respectively.
Round 7 will determine the winner for the Women’s Country Carnival on Friday morning. Roll up starts at 8.45 am. Come down to Lockleys Bowling Club to watch the action unfold.
