2020 Country Round Robin
Day 4 of the Men’s and Women’s Country Round Robin was played today, which concludes the event as we see a clean sweep.
The Men’s Country Round Robin was held at Marion while the Ladies were held at Lockleys. The weather gods were on our side this week as we had beautiful conditions at both venues.
The Men’s and Women’s Country Round Robin were both taken out by Region 7, the Fleurieu and KI region. The men did not lose a game and the ladies only losing one is definitely an impressive week on the greens.
The ladies final day ended up being very close, with both Region 7 and Region 1 both finishing with 6 wins. Region 1 finished with 6 wins and +74 just 17 shots behind region 7 who finished with 6 wins and +91. A great week by the ladies – see below ladies ladder and skips ladder:

The men’s final day ended up with Region 7 unbeaten with 7 wins and +127, just beating region 3 (Upper North) who finished with 6 wins, 1 loss and +210. A big day today in the men’s department as at the end of day 3 it could have gone anyway! See below Mens overall and Skip Ladder:

Congratulations to the Fluerieu and KI region (Region 7) for taking out the 2020 Men’s and Women’s Country Round Robin titles.
