2019 Australian Senior Sides Championships: SA off to the perfect start by Domenic Favata
The 2019 Australian Senior Sides Championships are underway in Ettalong, NSW, with South Australia emerging as the dominant state after Day 1.
Across both the Men’s and Women’s fields, the South Australians were the only undefeated state (in both genders) in their two matches against Tasmania and Western Australia to open their account.
Among the other states to enjoy an undefeated start to the event were New South Wales and Victoria in the Men’s competition, while Queensland also won both their opening matches in the Women’s competition.
Sides will compete in a further two matches today when the action resumes at Ettalong Memorial Bowling Club from 9am AEDT.
