Be Active ORS Field Officers
The Office for Recreation and Sport, in partnership with local councils, health services and community organisations has established a be active Field Officer program.
Eight be active Field Officers are currently operating in regions throughout South Australia, including the:
- South East
- Murraylands
- Riverland
- Fleurieu Peninsula / Kangaroo Island
- Mid North
- Pt Augusta / Flinders Ranges
- Eyre Peninsula; and
- Whyalla
Each Field Officers role is to work closely with local sport and active recreation clubs, physical activity providers, local councils, health services and schools throughout their region to:
- Increase community participation in sport, active recreation and physical activity programs
- Improve the quality of sport, active recreation and physical activity opportunities

If you are a sport and recreation club, organisation, school, physical activity provider or community group and have a Field Officer operating within your region give them a call to see what support or assistance they may be able to provide you.
